Leland Road Water Treatment Project 2026
This project is partial funded by Drinking Water State Revolving Funds.
Construction of upgrades and improvements to the Leland Road Water Treatment Facility at 16 Leland Rd were financed by the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund. The DWSRF program is administered by Massachusetts DEP with joint funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Massachusetts. This project will add filtration to the existing Leland Road Facility and will provide water quality benefits by removing manganese and iron for community residents and businesses in West Brookfield. DWSRF programs operate around the country to provide states and communities with the resources necessary to maintain and improve the infrastructure that protects our valuable water resources nationwide.
Construction began on 6/24. See photos below.
