St. Luke’s Guesthouse provides Christian hospitality to those in need of temporary, non-emergency shelter. We are here to provide a quiet place to stay while guests work on their problems, especially getting into permanent housing. We are currently the only homeless shelter in southern Worcester County serving single men, women and children. We also provide a Finding Hope program to help people prevent eviction. "The Quaboag Valley Food Policy’s (QVFPC) is a group of residents, food access advocates, farmers, and nutrition professionals who are dedicated to strengthening our region’s local community food system. As a grant funded initiative under the town of Ware, our mission is to address the factors that reinforce regional food access barriers to make local, nutritious food available to all community members. The council draws from the expertise of those who are doing food access work already and draws connections between those agencies and residents. The Council meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 12-1pm, on zoom and in person at the E2E space in downtown Ware. Everyone is always welcome. We also provide free trainings and workshops every other month for all community members!
